Shauna-Gaye from Babeelicious gives us her recipe for Homemade Baby Wipes. Try it, hope you like.
HOME-MADE BABY WIPES RECIPE:
1. Take a paper towel roll, cut it in half and place into a container.
2. Pour baby wipe solution (see below) over the paper towels to saturate (after about 5-10 minutes, flip towels over so solution can saturate throughout)
4. When using wipes, take from the center outward.
5. I stored mine in plastic/ziploc bags and kept the roll I wasn't using in the fridge (you can also store them in tupperware).
I kept them in the fridge because I felt like they were "fresher" than when I left them out. Of course, I would strongly suggest taking them out to warm up in advance to using them...not so cute when that cold wipe touches the bum :D.
BABY WIPE SOLUTION:
1 - 2 Tablespoons Liquid Soap / Shampoo of your choice
1 - 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
1 - 2 Cups Distilled Water
1 - 2 Tablespoons Calendula Oil
1 - 2 Tablespoons Tea Tree Oil
I used Calendula and Tea tree oils for their fantastic medicinal values but the soaps, oils, etc you choose to use in the recipe is what makes it uniquely yours! Calendula may be a little difficult to get here but Jojoba and/or lemongrass may be substituted.
